Abstract

Completed as the third installment following "Peaceful Buddha Sculpture" and "Sequel Peaceful Buddha Sculpture". In this book, a small but full-scale sitting statue with a pedestal and a halo is carved. Adopted a parquet structure that is carved and combined for each part so that it is easy to carve. Careful explanations, many process photographs, drawings and patterns are introduced. Since the photo of the work shows the key points in full size, you can carve it while comparing it with the work you are actually working on. It was also convenient to purchase tools and materials.
