Abstract

Knowledge of composition is essential for drawing attractive illustrations and manga. This book introduces the fundamental composition concepts that are a standard part of the curriculum in technical schools.
The author has over 10 years of teaching experience at a manga school, where he has instructed many artists.

Author’s Information

Born in Kama City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Illustrator and art instructor. Studied under Genpei Akasegawa at the Art School of Tokyo. Debuted in the Monthly Manga Garo. Awarded the Tanioka Yasuji Prize of Young Comic. Winner of the Illustration Magazine "The Choice" Annual Award. After working for Yasuji Tanioka Production, he became independent and has been releasing his illustrations as a freelance illustrator mainly in the publishing and advertising industries. He has been an instructor at design schools and culture schools since 2004.
