Abstract

Includes a number of techniques by Isao Okano, nicknamed "The Best Postwar Master".The flowing series of photographs, revives the changes and combinations unique to ground fighting. Almost 40 years after its publication, "Vital Judo", which has been read as "the Bible of Judo technical books", has been revived in a new and revised version. We didn't dare to add the technical page. Instead, the cover has been renewed with the original version. In addition, a new recording of "Judoka Isao Okano talks about practice and match"(listener Hideki Furuta).
