Four years after his first novel, "Gene Mapper," which he wrote on his iPhone during his commute to work, Taiyo Fujii won the 2015 Japan Science Fiction Grand Prize for "Orbital Cloud"! Born in 1971, he self-published the e-book "Gene Mapper" in 2012, which became a hot topic. In 2014, he published "Orbital Cloud" (Hayakawa Shobo), which won the 35th Japan Science Fiction Grand Prize. His latest work is "Big Data Connect" (Bungeishunju), a police novel about the crisis of personal information.
