Abstract

There are various techniques for colored pencils. In this book, you can master authentic techniques while actually drawing with various motifs.

The 'drawing-in' style allows you to learn by watching the drawing process and drawing in the same way. This is ideal for people who are not good at drawing underdrawings and for those who want to practise using the same underdrawings. Some of the drawings show shadows and other areas outside the learning theme, so you can learn techniques in a smart way. For those who want to practise on a different piece of paper, the book also shows how to trace.

Popular themes such as reflected metal and transparent glass are also included. You don't have to think too hard to draw, so this is recommended for those who want to enjoy the world of colored pencil drawings first.

Author’s Information

Born 1976, Fukuoka, Japan. After working as a graphic designer, he started drawing colored pencil pictures under Ryota Hayashi in October 2013 and became an independent colored pencil artist in October 2015. He creates and exhibits paintings using only colored pencils, and holds classes and events in various locations to promote coloured pencils as a drawing medium that can be used to enjoy drawing casually.
