A heartwarming Christmas story about Santa Claus and a bear

Santa Claus reads a letter from a boy named Shin-chan, who says, "I want a bear I can play with," and makes a stuffed bear. Santa Claus teaches the bear words so that he can be Shin-chan's friend. After learning a few words, the bear had a lot of fun chatting with Santa Claus and helping him out. Then it is time for him to leave for Shin-chan's home.
This is a heartwarming picture book with beautiful embroidery.

Author’s Information

Reiko Nagao was born in Tokyo in 1963. She graduated from Tokyo YMCA Design Institute, Department of Design. Studied embroidery at the Scars Handicraft School in Denmark. Her picture books using embroidery include "The 10th Christmas Cake," "A Day in the Life of Santa Claus," and "Thank you, Santa Claus" (all published by Fukuinkan Shoten Publishers, Inc.).
