Abstract

A strategy consultant teaches the "Purpose-Goal-Measure Pyramid” to apply to all industries and occupations.
What is required of business people in these uncertain (VUCA) times is the ability to think from the standpoint of "purpose" without being bound by conventional ways of doing things.
However, despite the importance of this ability, there are many people who do not understand the role of purpose or how it should be set.
This book presents a framework of five basic actions (cognition, judgment, action, prediction, and learning) based on a "pattern" (framework) of thinking that takes the objective as the starting point, and then shows how to put it into practice.
