Author’s Information

She was born in Hokkaido, Japan, in 1979 and graduated from Ritsumeikan University with a degree in Literature. She spent most of his elementary school years in Zambia, Africa. 2008: won the 21st Shosetsu Subaru New Writers Award for her debut novel "Iogami"; 2009: Izumi Kyoka Literary Award for the same title; 2013: Shimase Sei Love Literary Award for "Atokata"; 2023: Naoki Award for "White Iron Leaf(Shirogane no ha.)"
