Abstract

A summons from a well-known and loathed duke arrives at a poor baron's house in the countryside.
Rosetta, the second daughter of the baron, is outraged that she is being summoned as a "forced maid", but in order to protect her family, she rides off to the duke's house on her own.
However, her life at the duke's house, which began with a misunderstanding, is full of unexpected things.
The duke, Earnest, is unfriendly for sure, but what's more are the maid who cooks murderously bad food, and the butler who loves sarcasm and has a strong sadistic streak...it seems that everyone in the duke's household is a bit of a surprise...?
