Abstract

Mr. Tokugawa of Tokutake Sangyo, which appears in "Nihon no ichiban ni okeru kaisha," decided to develop "Ayumi Shoes" because of his feelings for his mother who passed away early in life.
After much trial and error with his wife, Hiroko, he succeeded in developing "shoes that really make elderly people happy.
When the elderly people put the delivered shoes by their bedside when they go to sleep, they say, "I can't believe I can wear such pink shoes at my age. God gave me pink shoes.
We have received messages such as "I can't believe I can wear such pink shoes at my age.

These messages from the elderly tell the story of Tokutake Sangyo, which is very kind to its customers and employees.

Author’s Information

Born in Hokkaido, Japan in 1952. After graduating from Keio University, Faculty of Letters, he worked for a publishing company. After serving as editor-in-chief of a management magazine and secretary general of an incorporated association, he established his own publishing company, and through his coverage of more than 2,000 companies, he has gained insight into the nature of human managers and corporate management. He is currently the executive director of the Society for Human Resource Management. Chairman of the Teshima Good Company Creation Promotion Association. He is also a member of the judging committee for the "Nihon no ichiban ichiban ichiban desirable company" award.
