Abstract

Two wills left by business tycoon Saidaiji calls together family members to a weird shaped manor built on an isolated island off the coast of Okayama. Author’s Information

Born 1968 in Hiroshima. A graduate of Okayama University. Debuted with Misshitsu no Kagi Kashimasu (We Lend Keys to Locked Rooms). In 2011 he won the Honya Taisho Award with Nazotoki wa Dinner no ato De (Problem Solving After Dinner) which became a bestselling series selling over four million copies. Shikake Island is loosely tied to the title Yakata Island which Higashigawa published in 2005.
