Abstract

After graduating from college, Dai takes a part-time job at a long-established Japanese inn run by the family of a childhood friend, where he is reunited with Sakushiro, whom he loved like a younger brother. Sakushiro's father died early and his older brother, Kazuki, is still missing, and he is doing his best to support his sickly mother as the head of the family.
One night, Dai witnesses Sakushiro being held by a stranger in the remote cabin of the ryokan. It was a contractual act to ensure the inn's survival....
This is a sad but pure and tender love story of Dai, who wishes Sakushiro's happiness, and Sakushiro, who secretly has feelings for Dai.
