Abstract
Vikings, Privateers, Murakami Suigun...... these are all names for pirates. Although the names change depending on the time period and region, what they do is a lot of evil deeds, mainly plundering. They are bad guys, no doubt, but their charm is that they are lined with exciting power words such as "freedom," "adventure," and "treasure. From ancient to modern times, from the West to the East, the life, workings, and culture of "pirates" are introduced with many illustrations.
