Abstract

This is a book of stuffed cats made with wool yarn. By planting hair, you can make an unprecedentedly realistic cat amigurumi. It is also huggable size, so you can take pictures with the real thing, hold it in your arms, and take pictures with it, making it perfect for social networking. Detailed explanations are provided on everything from basic knitting techniques to tips on hair-planting and how to choose eye buttons and flower buttons.

Author’s Information

Amigurumi artist. She makes original amigurumi dogs to order, capturing the characteristics of her beloved dogs while deforming them to make them cute. She tries to create her own unique works, paying attention to details. She runs an amigurumi class "Monpappi" in Ginza and Kichijoji. Since 2016, she has held a solo exhibition every March. Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Japanese Painting.
