Abstract

Today is the first birthday of Kuroro, a black cat. His animal friends gather to celebrate. He is a mysterious cat who sometimes disappears at night. In the middle of the party, he suddenly disappears again. Where did he go? His animal friends try to find him and solve the mystery.
This is a beautiful picture book for both children and adults.

Author’s Information

Hiiragi Nonaka: Hiiragi Nonaka was born in 1964. After graduating Rikkyo University, she published her first novel in 1991 while she was living in New York. Her works include novels, essays, children’s tales and picture books.

Misaki Kihara: Misaki Kihara was born in 1986. After graduating Musashino Art University, she became a freelance illustrator. She draws mainly plants and animals in a cute yet somehow dark world.
