Abstract

Thinking of each other and coming together - a gem of a picture book that will touch the hearts of children and adults alike.

The cat's job is to tie up twigs of magnolia kobus. One morning, when the cat was about to get to work, a little bird stopped at the window. ''I have a favor to ask. Could you give me some of the twigs you have there?'' Seeing the little bird that was about to burst into tears, the cat decided to give it one twig a day. This is a beautiful and dramatic work that depicts these two who live in different environments yet interact closely, their daily activities, coexistence, and the cycle of life.
