Abstract

The system we introduce in this book is called the "Uzawa Method," an English language learning system developed from over 50 years of student instruction experience. It offers a method that allows everyone to memorize English effortlessly.
As a result of approximately 50 years of instruction, it has produced a significantly higher number of native-level speakers compared to traditional school education.

In this book, we have chosen "Japanese history" as the subject. This is because Japanese history is familiar to Japanese people, making it easier to memorize.
Even for those unfamiliar with Japanese history, we have made efforts to enable learning about Japan through historical figures, intriguing anecdotes, and cultural backgrounds, all conveyed in English.

Uzawa Tokuko

Representative Director of Uzawa System Education Research Institute, Ltd.
Inspired by starting to teach English to children in her neighborhood, Tokuko Uzawa developed deep doubts about traditional English education in Japan and made the decision to take action herself.
Subsequently, she developed the "Uzawa System," a method for acquiring high-level English proficiency that anyone can utilize, and established English classrooms for elementary, middle, and high school students.
Over the course of approximately 50 years of instruction, she has produced numerous native-level speakers and continue to provide instruction in Hatagaya, Tokyo.
One of her notable works is "The Method to Master English for Japanese Elementary School Students" published by Forest Publishing Co., Ltd.
