Abstract

Far from the castle town, the guards of the "Hategaikaku"-- A prestigious aristocrat Ashuas is posted to a downgraded trifling job called the "Guardian of the Hategaikaku ".
Ashuas annihilated his troops in a frontier battle, and he was demoted. Mocking himself as the only survivor, Ashuas suffers from nightmares in the battlefield.
Durant, the magician, removes Ashuas’s nightmare with magic. Ashuas tells Durant, who has a bad mouth but shows clumsy kindness, “I think I've fallen in love with you.”
