Abstract

This book uses manga to explain quality control know-how that is difficult for beginners, such as the QC seven tools and the concept of statistical quality control.
Akari takes a part-time job at a candle factory during her summer vacation, and learns the know-how of quality control under the guidance of Ed, a Portuguese student.
The book covers the definition of "quality" itself, statistical distributions such as 3σ and 6σ, international standards such as ISO9000 and HACCP, and new methods such as clean rooms that have been adopted for precision products.
