Abstract

Ever since the main character Mio was born, her mother has been bedridden in a vegetative state. Even when I was in elementary school and when I became an adult, I would go to the hospital room to see my mother. I couldn't imagine my mother in motion. Through the growth of Mio, the relationship between parent and child changes ── the author, who is also an active doctor, draws the way of the one and only mother and daughter.
