Author’s Information
Takanori Mizuno
was born in 1940 at a temple of the Myoshinji school of Rinzai Zen Buddhism in Shizuoka Prefecture. After graduating from the University of Tokyo, he joined Fuji Bank. He became independent after working as a senior economist in the Research Department in New York. Currently, he is the president of Mizuno Juku, a school that teaches humanity, politics, and management based on Zen and the Yasuoka Doctrine. 1986, he became a disciple of Nakajima Genjo Roshi at Shoinji Temple, which is related to Hakuin Zenji. 2000, he studied under Akane Shodoshi. 2001, he began attending Zen meditation under Miyamoto Daihou Roshi, the head priest of the Mukakuji School of Rinzai Zen Buddhism.
