Author’s Information
Hougen Natori: Former chief priest of Ketsufudo Mikuzoin. Born in 1958 in Edogawa Ward, Tokyo. After graduating from Taisho University, he served as an English teacher before becoming the chief priest of Ketsufudo Mikuzoin (located in Shikabone, Edogawa Ward). With the motto of "A temple to participate in" and "Buddhism that can be felt close", he provided opportunities to familiarize a wide range of generations with Buddhism by holding events like Buddhist hymns, Shabutsu, concerts, and Rakugo. Chief of the Propagation Research Institute of the Shingon Buddhism Toyoyama School. He is also an editor of the Toyoyama School's propagation magazine "Komyo" and a master of Toyoyama Ryu Daishi Lecture (Buddhist hymns). His main works include "The Practice of Not Minding", "Starting Small Improvements by 'Quitting'" (both from Mikasa Publishing), "Rich Loneliness - The Key Not to Be Manipulated by 'Other's Eyes'" (Yamato Publishing), "Kukai: Life Pilgrimage" (Gentosha), and many more.
