Author’s Information

Calligrapher and beauty writer (Calligrapher: Shi Li) Born in Tokyo, Japan. Graduated from Kokugakuin University.
While a student at Kokugakuin University, she studied under Dr. Shiryu Nakajima, professor emeritus of Kokugakuin University, Imperial Household Agency document specialist, and doctor of literature.
For more than 40 years, she has been active as a calligrapher with the theme of writing "elegant kana" and "words that resonate with the heart.
In January 2023, she received the Shunkei Prize, an award coveted by kana calligraphers, and has received numerous awards, including the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award.
In 1987, he founded the Tachibana Calligraphy Association. The calligraphy classes for students from kindergarten to adulthood are called "mysterious calligraphy classes" because they are always fully booked by word of mouth without any advertising, and because of the progress of his students.
He is also a member of the Mainichi Calligraphy Association, a member of the Japan Calligraphy Art Institute, a permanent director of the Modern Calligraphy Research Institute, the leader of the Tachibana Calligraphy Association, and vice-chairman of the Tachibana Gakuen Chichibu Futaba Children's School.
