Abstract

Starting with job hunting that emphasizes "guts," men are required to be the economic pillar of their wives and children, and if they take maternity leave or fall outside the career ladder, they are oppressed and disrespected by their peers. An increasing number of men are suffering from their inability to embody the gender norms of "masculinity. Through detailed reporting, this report considers how to free men from the curse of "manhood" that persists even after retirement and create a society in which everyone can live comfortably.
