Koukei and Kaien are training in Fudaraku in order to become a member of the Hachibushu that serve the Buddha. Koukei, who has been compared to his elder brother since childhood, has lost hope in everything. And even though he has feeling towards Kaien, he chooses quarrel insteads of confession everytime. One night, however, Koukei learns the truth from Kaien's drunken words at a banquet that Kaien recognizes and understands him better than anyone else. Unable to suppress his secret feeling, he pushed him down in his unprotected state...?
