Abstract
Today, both children and adults are pressured to compete to be the "winner". This book proposes that stepping off the expected track, letting go of the values that prioritize status and honor, and accepting a little "loss" can pave the way for a happier life. It suggests that by making slight changes to the 'common-sense' approach to life and viewing it from a non-worldly perspective, we can live more humanly. This collection of 76 stand-alone essays is based on the message that the author has advocated for many years.
