Abstract

This guide introduces 36 museums, shrines, and facilities throughout Japan where famous swords, such as national treasures and important cultural properties, can be seen. The guide is based on the concept of "Going to See Famous Swords," and provides a unique approach to viewing famous swords, explaining where and what kind of swords can be seen, as well as the charms and highlights of the swords on display and in the collections.
