Abstract

This is a book on floral crape work and hanging decorations that can be enjoyed in any season. In addition to traditional motifs, all the motifs introduced in this book are "flowers". The authors have chosen a type of flower that is rarely seen in floral crape work, and have suggested designs for hanging decorations using such flowers that suit not only Japanese-style rooms but also Western-style rooms.

Author’s Information

Presides over the Japanese workshop Kagura, and is the owner of the old cloth shop Kamakura Kagura. She has held classes on old fabric crepe crafts and hanging decorations, mainly at culture classes in the Tokyo metropolitan area, and is the author of numerous books.
