Born in Fukuoka, Japan in 1982. Graduated from Kyoto University, Faculty of Science, and the University of Tokyo, Department of Particle Physics, MBA in Finance (Hitotsubashi University), and CFA Institute Certified Securities Analyst. During graduate school, he was a researcher at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), where he participated in the world's largest particle experiment project. After completing his MBA, he worked as a quant (a specialist in mathematical analysis related to finance) at a megabank, managing various derivatives, Japanese government bonds and Japanese stocks, and after working at a hedge fund in New York, he joined the investment department of an insurance company in 2016. His publications include "Everyday Life: Hidden and Wonderful Mathematics" (Kosha), "Mathematics Dokugaku Hou" (Kodansha Gendai Shinsho), and "The Ambition of Physics: Searching for the 'Theory of Everything'" (Kobunsha Shinsho).
