Abstract
As the conflict between the U.S. and China intensifies and the global situation changes drastically, the focus of each country on strategic materials is changing dramatically.
This is because the pursuit of economic efficiency is giving way to an emphasis on the security of their own countries and their allies, making it increasingly important to secure strategic commodities, particularly resources and energy. In particular, in recent years, the worldwide outbreak of new coronas in 2020 and Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022 have increased the political activity among countries over resources such as semiconductors and fossil fuels. In addition, the disruption of supply chains due to the global economy and the shift to renewable energy are also complicated, and understanding strategic commodities is not a simple matter.
This book deciphers the current and future status of strategic materials from a geopolitical perspective, and then carefully unravels how this will affect international affairs and the interests of each country. This is a book that will help you understand even the rise and fall of nations by looking at the world from the perspective of strategic commodities!
