Author’s Information

Taizo Son is a serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist from Japan. He is the younger brother of Masayoshi Son, the chairman of SoftBank. For over 30 years, Taizo Son has been dedicated to solving global issues and nurturing entrepreneurs. In recent years, he has been internationally recognized for creating movements that allow children to participate in shaping future societies.
Since founding his first company in 1996 while still in university, Son has consistently been involved in launching internet-related tech startups. In 2009, he founded MOVIDA JAPAN, a startup accelerator, with a vision to create a Silicon Valley-like ecosystem in Asia. In 2014, he established Mistletoe, a community team dedicated to creating social impact. Mistletoe supports startups capable of solving global societal issues, contributes to the cultivation of young entrepreneurs, and the development of the ecosystem.
