Abstract

It's okay. When you stumble on something, there is a place waiting for you. Takumi Kurita, a young man who lost his job and got caught in the rain while on a bicycle trip, visits an old building.
Three women of different ages are living at the Moonlight Inn, where a gentle old man once ran a pension. Takumi injures his leg while repairing the roof, and ends up staying there until it heals. At a turning point in their lives, a man and a woman meet at a time that feels like a belated summer vacation, and a strange cohabitation begins.
