This heartwarming manga tells the true story of Dr. Tanpopo, an at-home doctor in the Seto Inland Sea region, through the artistry of Musework (Nekomaki), the creator behind hit manga like 'Neko to Jiichan' and 'Tora to Mike.

Chairman of Medical Corporation Yunomori and a doctor at Tanpopo Clinic. He opened a clinic specializing in home medical care in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture in 2000. He started with three staff members and zero patients. He has aimed to "improve the quality" of home medical care by maintaining a high level of "philosophy," "system," and "human resources." He currently has approximately 100 staff members, and provides inpatient and outpatient care, with a focus on home medical care provided by a multidisciplinary team. In 2012, he privatized a public clinic in a town with a population of 1,100 that had been closed in the aftermath of municipal mergers. For his efforts in remote area medical care, he received the Minister of Regional Revitalization Award at the 1st Japan Service Awards in 2016. He is actively involved in promoting home medical care, including giving lectures and training sessions for professionals across the country.
