Abstract

The JLPT: Points and Practice series is a collection of questions and pointers to help you acquire the minimum skills required to pass the JLPT exam in a short period of time. In this book you will study N4-level vocabulary.

In the Questions part you will try to answer the questions by yourself, and in the the List part you can check the answers and use the explanations to understand why you got certain questions wrong. By studying in this way, your existing knowledge will become more organized, and your awareness, understanding, and memorization of unknown vocabulary and Chinese characters will be greatly enhanced and proceed smoothly.

For learning the vocabulary, the authors have carefully selected the most important vocabulary (245 words) that are likely to be come up in the exam based on the analysis of various materials. Some of the words to be studied include kanji (Chinese characters) and the authors has narrowed this number down to 118 essential kanji, easing the burden of learning of people who are not good with kanji.

All the questions come with explanations in English, Chinese, and Vietnamese, so the book is ideal for self-study.
This book is recommended for those who do not have much time to prepare for the exam and those who are not good at memorizing a lot of vocabulary and kanji at the same time.
