Abstract

A new work on life, money, and happiness
by the author of the bestselling "What to Do With 3,000 yen" !

Mizuho is a frugal housewife who saves every yen she can so she can buy a Louis Vuitton wallet. She realizes that goal, only to find herself forced to sell it to raise some desperately needed money. We follow the ownership of that wallet as it changes hands among various owners: A diploma-mill dropout who has become entangled in a multilevel marketing scheme. A down-and-out investor. A writer of Feng Shui books struggling with her career and personal life. Two young women struggling to repay their student loans. What will be the fate of the wallet, and of Mizuho? The story that unfolds is relatable to many who have found themselves trapped in the economic disparities of today’s world, one for anyone who has ever found themselves thinking if only I had a little more money…
