Author’s Information
Professor, Faculty of Letters, Meiji University Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1960. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo. He took up his current position after completing a doctoral course at the same university's Graduate School of Education. His specialties are pedagogy, physical theory, and communication theory. He is well-versed in a variety of classics, and his works on the Analects include ``Modern Translation of Analects,'' ``Analects Power'' (Chikuma Shobo), ``Analects to Read Out Loud'' (Soshisha), and ``For Elementary School Students.'' There are many such works, such as ``The Analects of the 30's'' and ``The Analects of the 60's'' (PHP Institute).
