Abstract
All results are determined by “setting goals”! In today's era of increasing diversity and freedom, companies and individuals are no longer in a situation where they just have to achieve the same fixed standards as before. As society as a whole has become accustomed to content that is not bound by conventional frameworks and advances from other industries, it is important for companies and individuals to ``set unique high objectives that break away from conventional thinking.'' and take responsibility for it until the results are achieved." This book is an essential way of thinking to survive in this era, based on my 25 years of experience at McKinsey & Company and my track record in corporate management. Up until now, we have taken for granted that things are good, such as ``exceeding last year'', ``highest ever'', and ``ranking in the industry has risen from 3rd to 2nd'', but what about the people around us? If you think about the future of yourself or your company, you may have doubts such as whether you need to set higher goals, examples of bad and good goals, how to set goals in practice, etc. It provides easy-to-understand explanations, such as how to put it into practice, using case studies and sports examples.
