Abstract
Many leaders complain that their subordinates don't take initiative or that the team doesn't get along well. The key is ``Rather than trying to motivate subordinates or change the organization, the leader himself must change.'' The strongest team is one that doesn't just ``communicate well and motivate people,'' but ``can act for this leader.'' The method for achieving this is ``Leader Self-Management,'' which the author teaches in his training sessions. What kind of vision (thoughts) do they have, what words do they speak and convey, and what do they do on a daily basis? When these things become consistent, people start moving on their own. Self-management methods for leaders will change both you and your organization.
