Abstract

Raphtalia is a demi-human girl who lived happily with her family and friends.
However, due to the "waves'" which powerful monsters appears, she lost her parents and village, plundered by soldiers and became a slave.
The hopeless situation changes dramatically when she meets Naofumi Iwatani, the shield hero summoned from another world.
As she becomes Naofumi's slave and live together while fighting the waves, their bond deepens.
As she begins to regain hope, another trial comes before her...
