Hirai Yuukei
Born in Tokyo in 1943. Completed his doctoral program at Taisho University. He is an honorary professor of Taisho University and the head priest of Jousen-in of the Shingon sect, Toyama school. His publications include "Buddhism Goes along the Silk Road" (Daito Publishing), "Learning from the Kukai Shoryoshu" (Daihorinkaku), and "Guide to Temple Visiting for Beginners" (co-authored, Gentosha).
