Abstract
Detailed Commentary on Nichiren's Works": This book provides individual commentary on 282 confirmed autographic works—writings, letters, pictorial records, etc.—(known as "Ibun," "Goi-bun," "Gosho") left by Nichiren (1222-1282). The aim is to reveal the overall picture of Nichiren's thought not only through his main works but also by examining his lesser-known writings. Each commentary is standalone, allowing the book to be used like a dictionary. An introductory overview of Nichiren's writings and thoughts (with eight photographic images), references, a chronology of Nichiren, and an index of his writings are included at the end.
