Abstract

Kotori-chan, a tiny girl, awakens just once a year around the onset of winter. Every year, on that special day, she rides on the back of her bird friend to deliver a cherished gift to a loved one. What gift will she give this year? Kotori-chan's heartwarming presents silently reach the readers, enveloping them in soft happiness. This is the first and last picture book by the beloved artist Megumi Yamaguchi, who sadly passed away last autumn.
