Abstract
A horse named Ichitaro, emerging from a watermelon, is an incredibly hard worker. After hearing of his reputation, the local lord forcibly demands Ichitaro's services. However, no matter how many times Ichitaro is taken away, he always finds his way back to the elderly couple's home. This tale of the horse from the Chinese zodiac showcasing his devotion to the elderly couple is part of the 'Zodiac Long Ago' series.
