Abstract
To save an ailing old man, a rabbit, monkey, otter, and fox take turns searching for food. However, the rabbit finds nothing. This is the origin story of the Tsukimi (moon-viewing) festival on the night of the full moon. It's part of the 'Events from Long Ago' series, delightfully depicted through fun woodblock prints.
