Abstract

Retort Pouch curries born in factories and transported to supermarkets. Yet, nobody seems to want to buy the spinach curry which named Hou-chan. As other curries get sold, Hou-chan faces a startling incident... What is 'food waste'? Why do some foods get discarded uneaten? A picture book starring store-bought ready-to-eat curry, teaching about the mechanisms of food waste and what we can do to reduce it. Includes a 4-page color explanation at the end.
