Abstract

Chiro, a kitten, and Mihoko, a young girl, are the best of friends. They play together, eat together, and sleep together. But Mihoko has to move to a place where cats aren't allowed. Chiro is then taken in by a kind old lady who owns a candy shop. Although the lady treats him well, Chiro misses Mihoko terribly.
