Abstract

The 12th edition of the well-regarded Obunsha Japanese Dictionary. It includes around 85,000 recorded words, encompassing everyday necessities, the latest terms in science, technology, information, medicine, etc., as well as Japanese poetry, modern haiku, and proper nouns like names of individuals, locations, and works. All common kanji and kanji for personal names are presented as headings.
The dictionary also incorporates diverse special articles, such as "Expressions," "Usage," "Differences," "Synonyms," and "Honorifics," beneficial for language expression. Additionally, it features sections like "Etymology," "Transition," "History," and "Beginning," enhancing your understanding of the Japanese language.
