Abstract

A collection of Punch Needle patterns and works using embroidery threads by popular embroidery artist, Makabe Alice. The book includes detailed explanations of how to handle the needles, how to attach fabric to the embroidery frame, and tips for stitching, with process photos so that even beginners can enjoy using the needlepunch.
The book also includes samplers that are easy to stitch, such as circles and lines, as well as motifs such as flowers, berries, and animals that are colorful and can be enjoyed like a coloring book. The book also includes examples of small items such as pouches, drawstrings, bags, brooches, and interior items such as mini frames, wall decorations, and ornaments using the Punch Needle.
The book also includes videos showing how to attach fabric to the embroidery frame and how to handle the punch needle and how to stitch with it.

Author’s Information

Embroidery artist. She embroiders small things that she notices in the flow of the seasons, and expresses her surprise and joy. She is active in a variety of fields, including contributing her work to handicraft magazines, publishing books, selling kits, and designing embroidery items.
