Abstract

Nekoashi loves pancakes.
On the day the circus comes to town, he excitedly bakes lots of pancakes with his buddy, Petit Pan.
However, just when I was about to eat breakfast...! Pancakes are gone! ? As I followed the faint smell, I noticed that breakfast had been stolen all over the apartment, from one room to another!
Soft bread, strawberry on the cake, and canned mackerel! How did the culprit do it?
I think I saw a strange person...

Author’s Information

A picture book author living in Kyoto. While attending university, he specialized in woodblock printmaking and copperplate engraving techniques. After working as a textile designer and junior high school art teacher, she currently works at a nursery school while raising her three sons and producing picture books.
Selected for Aomori International Print Triennale 2007 and the 7th Kochi International Print Triennale Exhibition.
This work won the Special Jury Prize at the 9th Picture Book Publishing Awards.
