Author’s Information

After graduating from the Department of Marine Environmental Science at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, he pursued further studies at the Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute, University of Tokyo, under the guidance of Professor Katsufumi Sato. His research focuses on the ecology of sea turtles using biologging techniques. He successfully raised research funds for sea turtle studies through crowdfunding, attracting attention in the process. As a designer and illustrator, he is also engaged in creating illustrations for books related to biology and education, as well as logos and merchandise for research institutions. He has monthly serializations in the birdwatching magazine "BIRDER" and the fishing magazine "Hera Senka". In 2020, he obtained a doctoral degree.
